Kipsigis Highlands MCS Limited has procured a 15% stake of James Finlay Kenya Limited. The purchase of the share of the company now affords the local residents of Bomet, Kericho, Nakuru and surrounding communities an opportunity to own a part of the plantations that were formerly in the hands of foreigners.

The 15% ownership of the firm is a major step towards upgrading the stature of the local community as shareholders and therefore owners of a resource that will go a long way in improving their lives and community as a whole.
